Several years ago I buy Warn Tabor 9K winch and install on my Rubicon Jeep, til now it has worked very respectable and never got problems. It is definately a more slow-moving pull rate than some of more expensive Warn winches, indeed it actually just comes down what your time is valuable to you. I really just used mine not too long ago to pull a tree down…. hahaha. I hooked the Tabor winch around the tree, cut the notch and then pulled it in. It worked great till I blew the fuse I wore the wire power (I got a 250 ampere ANL fuse, but checked later that winches can draw up to 350 amps). And so now I just have it wired straight to the winch battery.

This Warn Tabor line is compatible and match with all of the Warn Mounting Systems and Hardware. But mounting kits sold separately. This Warn winch Tabor 9K also work great for my friend’s 4×4 vehicles, has not failed so far, easy installation, cheap price and it’s comprised in some soiled water. My friends install Warn 9K Tabor to his Chevy Blazer and Ford Ranger, even the other people also apply it on Dodge Ram and until now there’s no trouble. Good value for the price!
